seminar rooms

The seminar rooms of the faculty can be used by students of our faculty for learning and working outside of lecture and event times during the normal opening hours of the buildings. If you would like to use a seminar room for learning, please contact the offices or the staff of the institutes.

Please note the following rules:

  • Courses and events of the institutes always have priority.
  • Handle the rooms and the inventory with care.
  • Smartboards and other technical equipment are not "toys"!
  • Use for example for a rehearsal lecture is only permitted in agreement with the respective institute.
  • Garbage belongs in the garbage can! If you have used a blackboard or a whiteboard, these must be left clean.
  • Write on whiteboards only with whiteboard markers (dry wipe/non-permanent).
  • Please talk at a reasonable volume and show consideration for other learners in the room and for the staff in the adjacent offices.
  • No telephone calls or loud conversations in the corridors.
  • Before leaving the seminar room, the tables must be returned to their place and the chairs placed at the tables.

When you leave the seminar room, log off from the office or from the staff of the institute so that they can lock the seminar room again.

If you do not follow the rules, we will not be able to make the seminar rooms available as additional learning rooms in the future.

The occupancy of the seminar rooms can be viewed online. Please note that there may always be last-minute and unannounced changes in the occupancy which are not listed in the system.
