Dinh Tuan Nguyen, M.Sc., from the Institute of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (IPI) was honoured with the Best Paper Award in Las Vegas in June 2024 for his paper on "Depth-aware panoptic segmentation" submitted to the ISPRS Symposium of Commission II "The Role of Photogrammetry for a Sustainable World". Co-authors of the paper are Max Mehltretter and Franz Rottensteiner.
