In geodesy and geoinformatics the surface of the earth is explored measured and mapped in all its facets. This results in a digital model, e.g. in the form of city and cadastral maps, which form the basis for many decisions. But other than that, we do a lot more in Geodesy and Geoinformatics. The exciting thing about this profession is its variety!
