With technological progress on the rise comes the possibility of effectively supporting mankind through autonomous operating systems. This concerns the simplification and acceleration of work processes, as well as the quick navigation and orientation in a complex and unfamiliar environment. Environmental robots operate in the real and complex environment, i. e. outside laboratory or factory environments. The emphasis on environmental assessment and modelling is a special feature of this programme.
The Master's programme Navigation and Field Robotics is part of the Department Geodesy and Geoinformatics.
